School Social Worker

Rachel Benedict is the school social worker at Fieldstone Elementary school. Mrs. Benedict is available to work with any student with social, emotional and/or behavioral needs. She provides grade level and classroom presentations on topics like being kind and preventing bullying. She works together with staff and families to help students better manage emotions, build friendships, and become independent problem solvers. School Based Therapist

Hannah Modeen-Klamm
Canvas Health's school-based mental health program provides on-site mental health services to students who may not otherwise be able to access mental health services because of ability to pay, transportation, or diffculty scheduling and keeping appointments. School-based mental health services include diagnostic assessments and therapy services. Hannah Modeen-Klamm is the school-based therapist at Fieldstone. MACMH (Minnesota Association for Children's Mental Health) has a number of resources to help with children's mental health issues. They also provide "fact sheets" and other resources with information on a variety of mental health symptoms, classroom accommodations, and other resources of interest to parents.
